No commentary for this one.

Nah, before you get whatever you wear in a bunch, they are not being racist. They are just trying to make a point.

They don’t work your pants, they work your brain. Now you wonder why I love Desi Ad’s so much.

If you thought that cowboys, leather pants and hats existed only in movies, think again.

Not as funny as the ads we regularly feature, but good nonetheless.

Again, this one is not from the desh, but you know the guy is desi. Do not be fooled by people checking out his package.

If you do not remember, have not seen it, you should check out our previous Happydent ad, that was amazing. It was a tad bit long, but the concept and execution was brilliant. This follows a similar theme, much simpler and I love the ‘Ishmyle’.

Granted this is not a Desi ad, but it has desi images all over it. Well except if Desi men got so much tail, we would have beat China in the Population race, a long time ago.

Here is another reason why you should be against arranged marriage, at least see the girl properly before you decide on spending the rest of your life with her.

We suck when it comes to talking smack. I would love to hear what Sreesanth has to say about this, but alas, I have not been watching cricket that regularly.
In any case, here is an ad that encourages Desis to talk smack.

To set the tone for people who have never been to India, The TC (Ticket Collector) stands at the exit of a railway station and checks to make sure that all passengers have their tickets. Yes, we do not have automated systems yet.
So go on, watch the ad and tell us what you think.

I am not sure if this is the real ad or if it has been voiced over, but it contains too many parts that need to bleeped out.
EXPLETIVES warning.

A very smart and funny ad that has a crazy ending. If you found this on another site, you would never guess that it is Indian.

I would normally put this one in the queue for one of the UD regulars to include in the weekly columns. But this one could not wait.
The ad’s for the Indian Cricket League are out and here is the one for the Chennai Superstars.

Having been thro this crazy phase of my life, I can tell you that they will not stop. Not at any cost and like the ad says until they find someone.
It is funny and drives home the message. Take it into your own hands ;).

Not sure if this ad has been voiced over, but it sure is Desi.
Look at the woman wearing a sari. How often do you see that in a western commercial .

The ad is in Hindi, but it should not be a problem to understand this one.
Just to set the tone, I have never seen my parents / grandparents / aunts / uncles or anyone in my family in India who have displayed any form of affection in front of others. EVER. So this ad [...]
Ad’s that have a local flavor always attract me. But this one has both a local and a global reach. I mean, people everywhere have cows right.

One of the funniest desi ad’s I have seen in a long time. Amazing concept and from what I could find, this is a three part ad. The other two parts - in the coming weeks. Now enjoy.

Except the Manhattan credit card in India does not make too much sense to me.
