The entrepreneurial spirit of young India was in full display. Given their parents’ opposition to their union, a couple “gets caught” by Bajrang Dal protesters, who promptly marry them – cheap, fast and easy, Hindu ishtyle. Instead of scaring single boys and girls from hanging out with each other, the Bajrang Dal actually helped this young couple marry against the wishes of their parents, which according to Section 20 Page 420 of the “Handbook of Indian culture” is, against Indian culture.
Another angle to this incident, is that of the current financial situation. I blame this incident on the global recession, young couples are so cash strapped they’re restoring to free quickie weddings at the hands of fundamentalists.
