Meanwhile, thanks to Victorian laws, same-sex sex is still considered criminal and punishable under the law. The latest salvo against decriminalizing homosexuality comes from (who else?) the religious right. Senior VHP leader B P Singhal who represents the religious right in their fight against decriminalizing the gay lifestyle is insistent that, ready or not, “gay sex causes bodily harm”. [TOI]

Bodily harm? Getting kinky here, ain’t we Mr. Singhal? This is another reason sex education needs to be introduced into more Indian schools asap because in the absence of proper sex education people like Mr. Singhal seem to be getting their sex education from kinky adult movies.

On a lighter note, a drooling reporter asks Priyanka Chopra if she would consider playing a lesbian role in a movie. [TOI] [via] (tip Karthik via email)

“Why not? I would toy with the idea of playing a lesbian character if the role was well written and the script was rock solid. I’m all for equality and gay rights anyway.”

Rock solid? Toy? Priyanka on-screen with another lady? I’m a desi male and I approve this message.

Now the important question becomes who plays Priyanka’s love interest if she played a lesbian in a romantic movie? A few names come to mind but my vote goes to ………..
