We’ve run some interesting polls of late, but this poll based on the post on the PEW Religious Poll on Hindus is the US, evoked some surprising responses.

In the Pew Religious poll, 85% responded “yes” to absolutely or somewhat believing in a “god”. However, in the UD poll, less than 40% responded “yes” to the same questions. In fact a large number of respondents around 50%, took a fairly agnostic view and professed to believing in a higher power that necessarily was not a god that belonged to some particular religion.

Surprised? Thoughts? Opinions?
