Cyberbullying and cyberstalking of the worst form, by an Indian online portal. [link] (tip Spee via email)

When blogger Inji Pennu catches Kerals.com red-handed plagiarizing some of her blog content, she gets a nasty reply from the portal’s support staff and further responses that are blatantly criminal acts of cyberbullying and cryberstalking. I’m just shocked at the kind of nastiness that the Kerals.com staff and their affiliates sink to.

This is way too scary to comprehend. I cannot believe that there is no legal recourse for this kind of bullying. kerals.com should be held fully accountable and closed down.

Reading through the mails I totally felt that they were playing the ‘good-cop-bad-cop’ game.

I strongly feel that there should be stringent cyber laws that India is lacking.

But shouldn’t US law apply here ? I thought the abusive emails were sent from San Jose.

As for Indian cyber laws - are’nt they in place already? For example : orkut cases and the case last year of a software engineer unjustly jailed for postings he never made.
