An Indian national has been accused of brutally killing his wife and stepdaughter in Australia.

(Sanjay)Mehta allegedly murdered his wife and stepdaughter in Dunn Way in the western Sydney suburb of Blacktown, according to a police statement submitted to the Blacktown Local Court on Monday afternoon.(link)

Sanjay Mehta as been charged with the murder of his wife, 38-year-old Jyoti Mehta, and his nine-year-old stepdaughter Ujalla Dinesh. Mehta has two other children froma previous marriage living with him. After killing them he allegedly loaded the bodies into a car.Then in cold blood, he drove two other family members to Echo Point lookout at Katoomba, a popular tourist spot in the Blue Mountains about an hour’s drive from Sydney.While the others were talking a walk, he threw the bodies down a cliff.This occurred sometime before May 5th.The bodies were spotted by some people this Sunday,

According to police, the wife had approached the Jessie Street Domestic Violence Service in January this year after she was verbally abused by her husband, who had also threatened to kill her or have her deported.
