It was a bright sunny morning about a month ago. One of our readers (Thanks Priyanka) sent us a tip, well it was more of a pointer to a Desi blog, that spoke about the fashion scene, the Desi fashion scene.

I lazily wandered over and in the first few posts, I was impressed. They really were talking about stuff that I had never seen elsewhere. That and they seemed to capture my attention for a much longer period that most other blogs. One thing led to another and the ball got rolling.

It has taken me a while, juggling personal, professional and my virtual life together, but I have finally managed to get these ladies on board.

Please join me in welcoming Payal and Pri, who will, as a duo update us on the Desi fashion scene and help you identify and buy those pieces of jewelery right from the comfort of your couch. More important than Halle Berry wearing Amarpali, the fact that it cost a small car made me cringe a little bit.
