Rachna Maurya, the ‘item’ girl of Bollywood has redefined the standards for all her peers. And we would not be Über Desi if we did not have the video for you right?
According to Rachna, the unplanned incident occurred on the set of the music video ‘Desi Soda Whiskey’, as a result of a ‘wardrobe malfunction’. A term that makes every man and some women sit up straight. In an interview Rachna explained that the top she was wearing tore apart leaving her with no option.
Her choices were to cancel the rest of the shoot or finish it in her bra.
And what did the blossoming artist do? She finished the shoot.
Do these people never watch ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm‘? You always have a backup for every person’s wardrobe. I am not in the movie making business and I know that.

Jokes apart, what’s with these remix albums and their videos. I was at a desi eatery a few months ago and some of the videos were, to put it euphemistically, non vegetarian.
Where goes the culture police in these cases?

Anantha - I go to this eatery and on top of the videos being non-vegetarian (It was B4U, I think), the audio was muted - so there was nothing to disturb our concentration either.
That’s quite common even in the US and A. The food court here at FSU has BET on 24/7 and I have to say that most Indi-pop videos these days are “inspired” by BET.
