Williams F1 driver Alex Wurz announced his retirement from immediate effect leaving a seat open in Williams F1. The team decided to pick Kazuki (Kaz) Nakajima, their reserve driver to replace Wurz for the final round in Brazil. Although the Sir Frank Williams has said that this is not an evaluation exercise for 2008, Narain seems to have lost a good opportunity. We certainly think that Narain’s hopes of driving for Williams in 08 are fading.

Narain might fit the role, but so will a host of other drivers. [...]
