Narain’s signs on for another year of A1GP

After piloting the Team India A1GP car towards the fag end of last season, Narain has decided to sign up for a full year of racing. The team will be doing its pre-season testing at Silverstone on the 28th and 29th of this month.

Yohann Setna, the official spokesperson for Team India, confirmed the development. “Yes, Narain is racing for Team India for the full season and we are leaving for the pre-season testing at Silverstone on August 28-29.” Narain himself was not available for comment.

In the interview Setna also said that Narain would consider the Speedcar series if it did not clash with his other commitments.

Narain did pretty well given the limited time he had in the cockpit, except some podium finishes from Team India this year. Parthiv Sureshwaran might get to partner with Narain. Karun Chandok is the other driver in the fray, but his GP2 commitments might prove to be a road block.

This might be signs that Narain is not getting a race seat at WilliamsF1, we will wait and watch.
