Just days after UberDesi uncovered a vast left-wing conspiracy linking Sanjaya to Hillary Clinton, Clinton when quizzed about Sanjaya, came out in his support attributing his success to democracy at work.

The flamboyant Sanjaya’s rise as a pop culture icon will reach epic proportions if he wins American Idol. He is well known to the American public, which is more than what can be said about most Presidential candidates for the 2008 elections at this point in time. An UP (UberDesi poll) revealed that only 22.5% of Americans know the names of all the Republican candidates while only 36.2% know the names of all the Democrat candidates. Compare that with the 65% who can list all the top 10 contestants for this season’s American Idol. Sanjaya, in the meanwhile, at 73.42% percent is considered a household name.


• Sanjaya and ….. gulp …. J’Lo?

Rumors are rife about a possible link-up between American Idol hopeful Sanjaya Malakar and actress-pop star Jennifer Lopez. The rumors are said to have started on the sets of American Idol during the Latin Night week featuring J’Lo as the mentor for Idol wannabes.

Sanjaya’s rendition of “Besame Mucho” is said to have driven J’Lo “Malacrazy”. Eyebrows were raised when Sanjaya mentioned trying to get J’Lo’s number during an interview. Neighbours of J’Lo’s Los Angeles mansion reportedly overhead heated arguments between J’Lo and her hubby, Mark Anthony (no relation to the Roman emporer who dated Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra). Heated words were reportedly exchanged and neighbours overhead “Besame Mucho” and “Sanjaya” being mentioned repeatedly. Also, a quick look look at J’Lo’s personal laptop, revealed numerous Google searches on the keyword “Macaca“.



Angelina digs mohawks and fauxhawks

• Sanjaya Malakar Jolie?

Hollywood superstar and serial-adopter, Angelina Jolie, is reportedly looking to adopt American Idol hopeful, Sanjaya Malakar. UberDesi’s inside Hollywood sources reveal that besides Sanjaya’s ethnic background, the deciding factor was Sanjaya’s fauxhawk. Angelina’s adopted son from Thailand, Maddox, sports a mohawk. Angelina’s beau, Brad Pitt, was also seen sporting a goatee that resembled Sanjaya’s goatee from his performance on Latin Night.

Angelina is no stranger in playing mother to grown men. She played Colin Ferrell’s mother in Hollywood dud, Alexander. UberDesi also learnt that Angelina will not attempt to adopt Sanjaya’s sister, Shyamali. According to inside sources, the words “envy”, “Hooters” and “boobs” were mentioned in relation to this topic.

In other UberDesi tabloid news, Die Hard (and Harder and with a Vengeance) star, Bruce Willis paid tribute to Sanjaya, when he sported a fauxhawk on a recent taping for David Letterman’s popular nightly comedy show. In related news, Willis’ ex-wife Demi Moore, known for her preference for younger men, was overheard by sources, inquiring if Sanjaya was single.

Online Gambling Forums, who previously were picking Sanjaya to be eliminated every single week are now predicting that he will win American Idol.

This week on American Idol, the contestants will go country with Martina McBride at 8/7c Tuesday.
