One of the things I miss about being in India is the creative advertising. Besides selling a product they always managed to evoke emotions. Smiles, tears, love and a general sense of positiveness.
A while ago I came across this ad , a very creative one employed by Enigma, Marriott’s night club in India.
And in the past week I have seen this ad campaign making rounds on the internets. Some people have called it scary, but I personally think that a serious topic like drunk driving needs an equally serious message.
And since we are talking ad’s, here is one of my all time favorite.
And since we are in the cricket season, here is one that a lot of us who moved out of India might not have managed to catch.
And here is another one.

The first one, I haven’t seen. But I have seen in the past that companies sued each other if their product was prominently trashed in a competitor’s ad. Unless Peugeot is part of the Hinduja family in India, I would be surprised if I found that HM took the Ambassador’s bashing lightly.
The second ad apparently is rated high by Nike executives all over the world as an example of how their ads should be. And the presence of the “mallu hotness” should warm the cockles of the heart of least one sepia gal blogger that I know! He he…
And the last one is slightly old.
I think they were in a partnership HM and Peugeot.
