Thankful for Tofurkey
With all this stuff about Thanksgiving and turkeys why should a vegetarian desi feel left out?
I found the recipe for making Tofu Turkey. You can use that or buy some Tofurky from the nearest grocery store that sells organic food. Call over some friends, cook that recipe and some other dishes, have some beer and watch football (or rent an old cricket DVD from the Indian store). Makes for a great Thanksgiving evening - desi ishtyle.
Call this a crowd? Ever been in a local train in Mumbai?
Of course, the day after (Black Friday) needs no introduction to the desi community.
Happy Thanksgiving. Have a great long weekend and don’t drink and drive.
