We had &quot;Democracy Day &quot; in our school where we could lord it over the juniors.

If I remember correctly we also put up an entertainment program for our teachers. I salute them that they sat through poorly produced amateur efforts year after year.

I am actually grateful to many of the great teachers I had in school - some of the lessons they taught me still echo in my mind so many years later.
My mom and mom inlaw are both teachers so I have great respect for the profession!</description>
