what fool told you that a recruiter told them that in ANY army (every military has it's own NON-RELIGION military headgear) would allow someone to wear a turban during military status???? Even the hardcore muslim counties wear BERETS! If not that then hats… If someone told you a recruiter told them that and they believed it……guess what??? They're fucking stupid!

I realize that our constitution does not forbid stupidity, and you are thus entitled to say what ever you please, within reason, yet why make a jackass out of yourself if you can avoid it?

You obviously missed the part where the army recruiters promised them they could keep their turbans. Considering that and your rude comments in a completely unrelated post, the above statement sounds like a rhetorical question to yourself.

To Santosh, Regarding the story re Sikhs and turbans in the US army, your comment that there is “another irony to this story.” You refer to Uncle Sam with beard and headgear. You equate him with the Sikh-turban controversy. Are you saying that if asked to, Uncle Sam would refuse to shave his beard and remove his tophat? I think not. And you are not very bright, or “clever” in trying to make such an suggestion. If you can’t come up with anything better, I suggest you just shut up. Think about what I have just said.
