This is frightening and sad at the same time. It is clear that America isn't as democratic and liberal as it preaches to be. Even Obama’s faith was a problem for majority of Americans and he had to insist that he doesn’t practice Islam. Why is that needed? Slavery and open discrimination of blacks must be illegal but the country is quite intolerant and intolerant towards other religions. I can bet that these Indians wouldn't have gotten votes to be elected if they hadn't been converted to 'Christianity'. It is appaling how Nikki Haley makes it clear in some of her interview that she and her children are practicing Christians, not a Sikh. This proves the Christianity and Christians are as manipulative, dangerous and fanatical as 'Islam'. Very very sad! These foolish Indian-Americans struggle from identity catastrophe because they aren't proud of their religion and background. Also, most Hindu and Sikh parents fail have failed in their upbringing.
This is America. Any voter who wants to reject Nikki Haley because she converted from one religion to another almost 15 years ago is free to do so. Such a voter would be ignorant, but, hey, this is America.

Don’t know what proof you need … They will never admit it, but it is obvious that both Jindal and Nikki converted to Christianity only to get popularity. Don’t be fooled my friend…

So by your logic any convert can be viewed as disingenuous or untrustworthy? Or is that only linked to those who later seek to serve? Until evidence is shown to prove the supposed emptiness of their religious claims then NO ONE has the right to say they converted to curry political favor.
