I attended HS with Sparkle and although we were different grades I saw her many times walking in the halls. I can’t believe her love cost her life. I am too a black in a marriage with an Indian. And it’s been tough. It was a long while before she even had the courage to tell her parents of our relationship. Although her father is more accepting, her mother is very upset.

Although I cannot understand the culture fully in that respect I just hope one day her family can accept me for the person I am and any children we do have. Just as Sparkle’s family accepted her husband, my parents accepted my wife. Although my mother passed away before she saw me married, she accepted her as the woman I chose to be with. May Sparkle Michelle Reid Forever Rest In Peace. May God Bless and Watch Over Her Daughter.

DISGUSTING. What the hell is wrong with Indian people that they’re so obsessed with this supposed “honor” crap they go to the lengths of KILLING?!?!?!?!?!?! Every time I read or hear something like this story, I am deeply ashamed to say that I’m Indian.

May Chiman Rai rot in jail, hell for a long long long time. And Ricky Rai, needs to TAKE CARE OF HIS DAUGHTER that he’s abandoned and pretending she doesn’t exist anymore, while getting remarried to an Indian girl. Ironic isn’t it? Indian people say all this crap about black men not taking care of their children while Ricky is doing THE SAME THING!

As a desi I have no doubt that one of us can do the deed that Chiman Rai is accused of, so regressive is our thinking.It happens in India all the time dont it?.And the evidence here seems to point towards Chiman Rai.

Should he get convicted he will regret his act every day of his life before suicide–US jails are filled with young black males, who have been deprived of sex for sometime.Add that to the fact that he hired assassins to kill a black for being black–The proctologist is gonna be occupied fulltime repairing his bottom!And I say, just desserts.
