A strong nomination for the UberDesi Hero awards: 9-year old Ravnik Kler

and his sister Arnik who is just 7 years old were instrumental in saving the life of a toddler who almost drowned in Oakley, California. The Kler siblings, Shayne Webb, siblings BJ and Heidi Viola worked together to save the life of a 2-year old girl who had wandered away from home and fallen into a pond.

Had 9-year-old Ravnik Kler, and his 7-year-old sister, Arnik, not been at the right spot by the pond in the park, it would have been too late for them to get help, leading to Webb saving a 2-year-old girl from drowning, police said.(link)

Ravnik and Arnik ran to get help when they spotted the little girl floating in the pond at around 6pm on Friday.Siblings BJ and Heidi Viola then flagged down passerby Shayne Webb who pulled the toddler out of the pond and administered CPR.

UberDesi congratulates all the kids involved for their exemplary courage and quick-thinking!
