… at the last all-you-can-eat buffet you visited. You ain’t got nothing on this python that visited a zoo in Tirupati , India and swallowed a six year old deer -WHOLE! Just like the patrons of Hometown Buffet, the python was immobilized after its meal.

According to forest officer Shelvakumar, the python might have entered into the zoo either last night or in the early hours of today from the forest. It swallowed a six-month-old deer calf which was in a cage. (link)

A happy ending for the reptile though not for the poor deer.

Zoo officials packed the snake up and shipped it to a forest reserve.(link)
