The suburban oasis of San Ramon, around fifty miles from San Francisco is a quiet, sylvan place. On Sunday , the city reported its first homicide in two years.The body of 42-year old Kashmir Singh Billon was found next to the bullet ridden BMW that he owned.(link)

The husband and father of three grew up in the Fiji Islands and immigrated to the U.S. with his parents when he was still in school, his brother said. The family first lived in Turlock, where Kashmir attended high school….

Kashmir Billon graduated from University of California, Davis, in 1986. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Indo-American Golf Association…As an 8-handicap golfer, Billon was ranked 14th out of 86 players in the organization.

At the present point of time, the motive for the murder is unknown.The police are investigating. Billon is survived by his wife, Camille and children, Cameron, Sabrina and Rhea.

UPDATE: The Police have arrested Mr. Billon’s business partner Reginald J. Robinson, 31of El Sobrante on suspicion of murder
