The Australian newspaper, The Courier-Mail, ran a photoshopped image of Andrew Symonds’ face superimposed on Hanuman’s body. tip: Sai via Gmail.
Symonds is the Aussie cricketer whom Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh allegedly called “a monkey”. Predictably Hindu groups are up in arms against this depiction. [link]
So what do you Über Desis think?
1. It is phunny
2. I’m Hindu, i’m offended and effigies shall burn
3. Not phunny but no big deal
4. Tasteless but par for course for the Aussies

As an added bonus, ladeej and gentelman, I present to thee, a treasure trove of entertainment - 100% desi ishtyle, the Hindu gallery of denigrations.

I’m disappointed none of you want to join me in burning cybercafes and effigies of Symonds
I think the Australians beat us in own game. You call a player a human monkey..they feel like you have revered them by the likes of our god.atleast thats what the hindu society of australia was debating when it said indians dont think calling a person monkey is racist, indians revere monkeys.(atleat allegedly ).I think its high time to stop debating what australians did or do..we are indians and we should be an example of high morals.
