The Sikh community in the San Francisco Bay Area is reeling with shock at the shooting death of two brothers who ran the “Sahib Indian restaurant” in crime-ridden Richmond. Ravinder Kalsi (30) and Paramjit Kalsi (42) became the latest statistics in an area that has seen 47 homicides in 2007.The brothers were known to be helpful and hardworking with no known enemies.The police can find no motive for the killings and the possibility of a hate crime has not been ruled out.
