Two desi students were found shot to death in their apartment at the Louisiana State University. The victims - Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma and Kiran Kumar Allam - were both Phd students. Police suspect that this was the result of a botched home invasion. The deaths sparked a campus-wide alert(link)

That’s scary! I used to live in a real shady neighborhood close to campus when I first came to the US and I guess I should count myself lucky, something like this didn’t happen to me or any of my friends.

To top it their body was discovered by one of the guys’ pregnant wife.

He said the call to 911 was made by Allam’s pregnant wife, who returned home and found the men dead.

This is really tragic. I can’t think how their family so far away must be going through.
