For long, we’ve heard fellow desis rant on how Bollywood lacks creativity and cite Hollywood as an almighty epitome of creativity. Here’s something to shut them up:
Will Smith, the king of apocalyptic movies‘ latest release in 2007 “I am Legend“. This movie is a remake of the 1971 movie “The Omega Man” which was a remake of the 1964 movie “The Last Man on Earth” which was based on the 1954 novel by Richard Matheson named ……. any guesses …. “I am Legend“.
So there you have it - the $150+ million remake of a remake of the movie adaptation of a novel, and they could not even come up with a different name!!!
