After a disappointing qualifying session, ruined by an underpowered, overheating engine, a swap of the engine sensor, Narain qualified a disappointing 14th for the Sprint race and 11th for the feature race.

With dampened spirits and a new engine Team India took to the track for the sprint race finishing 11th, just outside the points. The feature race was a different game. This was the 50th A1GP, but from what I followed with the live timing and scoring online, it was one of the best races yet. A safety car period, a few crashes, but all in all it proved good for Narain.

He finished 6th and was consistently hunting down cars in the front. At one point before the second pit stop, Narain was driving as high as third.

The result pushes India higher up in the points tally up to 13th with 8 points in the bag. A very good result considering how the weekend started.

The next race is on the 16th of December in Zuhai, China.
