With Santosh going in search of Old Monk among other things and the need to increase our posting frequency, we have been looking for guest bloggers and boy did we find someone great.

An Environmental Health student, she has been sharing her thoughts online from 2004 and is a regular contributor over at DesiPundit. Engaged to another blogger and a regular reader of UD, Ash is a cautious lover of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and an avid reader (of books, something we here at UD do not do)

Juggling school, work, a beautifully decorated apartment (and you thought we do not do our homework) and blogging, she managed to find time to write a great piece for tehelka.com about leaving home and coming to the promised land for her grad school.
