If you ever run into a bunch of guys in Rajasthan in their chaddis, you could be next!! In one deft move, Boraj village in Rajasthan circumvented the need for any kind of criminal scene investigation, evidence, warrants and all those pesky things that go with murder and rape investigations.

From BBC.com:

Every man in an Indian village was made to strip to his underwear and inspected by village leaders investigating the rape and murder of a woman. Members of the Boraj village council in Rajasthan state inspected the bodies of around 100 men and boys to see if anyone had signs of a violent struggle. The exercise was undertaken after the body of a 35-year-old woman was found.

Somewhere, Horatio Caine of CSI: Miami took of his shades, tilted his head and grimaced when he heard of this news.

On a related note, I think these men got off easy. One can only imagine the amount of crap (pardon the pun) they would have to go through if someone had stolen a necklace and swallowed it!!!
