With just a few hours to familiarize himself with the machinary, Narain Karthikeyan managed to finish 7th in his debut race for team in India, back in Jan, 2007. This time around, the Indian motor racing fans hope that the results would be very different.
Last week Narain signed up for another year of A1GP with team India, barring his testing duties at Williams F1.
The two day test that began on the 28th, saw Narain finishing in Seventh place, 0.398 seconds behind Team France. However, he came down with a fever later in the evening. The A1GP medical staff advised him to take the day off and given that no other driver was present (I did see Karun Chandok yesterday)Team India packed their equipment early.
At the end of the second day, India was ranked 10th overall.
The next test is schedules for September 18-19 at Silverstone.
