If Narain does sign up for the 2008 season with an F1 team as the race driver, then we will probably use Parthiv as his replacement. It's too early to tell. As for a second driver, we may not need one if we decide Parthiv is to be the race driver. He would be eligible to do the rookie sessions as well as the races.

I understand that, but I figured that you would rather put some miles on the car and collect data than pack up and go home. Also, I had no clue that Karun just dropped by, I figured he was possibly going to put in some miles.

I agree. I have seen Narain consistently improve his timings. It is a shame that he came down with a fever. Good luck with the second test and we here will be updating out readers.

Also, I am not sure on if you can officially answer this, but if Narain decides to become a full time driver with WilliamsF1, I assume Parthiv will take over his duties for you. Who will be your second driver?

Karun was at the track, but only because he lives 5 minutes away from the track, and he, Narain and I are good friends, so he just came to say hi and catch up with us. No other reason. Karun is committed to his GP2 program till the end of next season, so no A1GP in his near future.

We'll see again during the 2nd test on the 18th & 19th. Narain & I will be at Silverstone, along with Parthiv.

I used to tease the husband that he is the only desi I know who is into motor racing.(He is a major Schumacher fan) Now I can't do that any more :-(
