A ball at a good length is always fun for the batsman. But the English cricket team has come up with more innovative things to place on the field.

Over the course of the past 20 something years, I have come across quiet a few of them, but what is happening over at England, is very creative, funny and makes for great writing.

When the tailender angrily gestured towards Pietersen in the gully, the assumption was that he was responding to some over-the-top sledging.
But it emerged that jelly beans, of all things, had been placed on the pitch in front of him.
