Mike Myers will be trading in his psychedelic clothing and moppy hair for flowing robes and a beard (tip Sandeep via email).

The man famous for playing Austin Powers, the British spy with really …….. really bad teeth and incredible shagging prowess, will play a Deepak Chopra-like spiritual man, Guru Pitka, in his upcoming movie, The Love Guru.

“The Love Guru is a Canadian kid who was left in India, raised in an ashram, becomes a guru and has to help a star player of the Toronto Maple Leafs who’s gone off the rails, get it together to win the Stanley Cup,”

Myers apparently has been practising hard for this role in the New York based improv club, The Magnet Theater.
