Along the lines of the Mexican wave, there is a rising wave of discontentment about the front-runner for the post of President of India among the netizens. Prathiba Patil, a non-entity and long time sycophant of the Gandhi family has been all but chosen for this largely ceremonial post. The reasons, she must NOT be elected to this ceremonial but prestigious post are too numerours to mention (via DesiPundit).
There are just too many unanswered questions about her, including questions about her sanity – she claims to talk to the deceased – not to be confused with the diseased. Even though political parties from Maharashtra support her candidature, Maharasthrian intellectuals question her legitimacy.
