Narain Karthikeyan finished a decent 7th after starting from the 10th place, helping Team India score 4 points.

Following the race using a combination of the Live timing screen and the online radio, I did not see a place where Narain had a chance to overtake anyone. I will review the video when it becomes available and keep you fans updated. Narain gained all three places because other cars lost positions. Team South Africa got a drive through penalty for jumping the start and Great Britan had a misfiring engine and eventually a broken suspension.
Narain did record the second fastest lap at 1:14:965 behind race winner Nico Hulkenberg of Germany who got a 1:14:742.
Although Narain finished 7th, being a rookie driver rookie A1GP driver and piloting a slower and heavier car, this is a great result for Team India.
